Carrie Cavanaugh

Carrie's role at BCWI is as a Communication and Research Manager. Her primary focus is facilitating the communication of practices that build healthy workplaces. As such, she uses the analysis of survey results as the seed for publications, web content and consulting advice. Specifically, these responsibilities include development of Best Practice Guides and production of the Best Christian Workplace’s eNewsletter-The Positive Core. Maintaining Best Christian Workplaces Institute's webpage and assisting in consulting work are also among her duties. Her passion for Kingdom work is what drew her to BCWI; she is excited to be helping other Christian organizations be witnesses to the world through their excellence.

Carrie received a B.A. in Literature from Claremont McKenna College and an M.A. in International Studies from the University of Washington.  She taught Organizational Behavior and Business English at the International Business School "Kelajak Ilmi" in Tashkent, Uzbekistan for two years before coming to BCWI.  Carrie is married to Michael, and they had their first child, Job, in Spring 2010.
